The PTFA is a voluntary parent teacher group whose aim is to bring the school community together with events for all those involved in the life of the school. The committee raises money for items to enhance all aspects of school life from sports equipment to puzzles and from garden plants to sound equipment. The committee includes a representative from every class in the school and meets as regularly as necessary to organize the events and decide on how to spend the monies raised.

Annual events have included a Summer Fun Day and Christmas Fair for families and friends of the school, a bi- annual school Ball and an annual Quiz Night for parents as well as an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. Every year the social calendar changes and grows in the hope that those who are with the school for many years will always enjoy a PTFA event.
Monies raised are spent on enhancing the children’s time at the school with particular but not exclusive emphasis on items used for extra curriculum activities. In the past year the PTFA have raised funds for a variety of projects including a climbing wall, archery equipment and a spectacular outdoor classroom.
The committee is always looking for volunteers not only to sit on the committee but also to help at the events themselves. |
