Our Alumni

We are pleased to welcome our alumni to continue their association with a very special school.

Sunninghill Prep has existed as a school since at least 1937, according to our latest research, when it was set us by Miss Denslow in Edward Road. In 1939, just as the clouds of the Second World War loomed over Britain, the school passed to Miss Thompson who ran the school for the next 20 years. Its location has changed a few times over the years from Edward Road to Monmouth Road, then to Herringston Road and most recently to its current location at South Court, right in the heart of Dorchester.

Despite all these changes one essential element has remained constant throughout. Sunninghill Prep has always been a family school with a strong community, offering a high quality, rounded education. The spirit of its founders is very much in evidence, fostered by family connections with the school going back over three generations in some cases.
